50 years ago on the first stop of our GO West honeymoon, Lynn Culver & I walked across the Royal Gorge Bridge after “tying the knot” of marriage a few hours earlier in Colorado Springs. She wore a white dinner dress that complimented my best black suit, a gift from my cousin John Russell. The wedding dress still fits Lynn but my shape morphed long ago.

The lovely lady standing between us & 3 of the famous “Fourteeners” (14,000′ Mts) in her front yard, is John’s widow, Julie. Someday we’ll be gathered at the Eternal Life Church where all the saints who adore “Thee”, if you are wearing the wedding clothes God freely offers all who are prepared to enter heaven.

See the story of the wedding in Matthew 22:8-12

“Then he said to his servants, ‘The wedding banquet is ready, but those I invited did not deserve to come. So go to the street corners and invite to the banquet anyone you find.’ So the servants went out into the streets and gathered all the people they could find, the bad as well as the good, and the wedding hall was filled with guests. But when the king came in to see the guests, he noticed a man there who was not wearing wedding clothes. He asked, ‘How did you get in here without wedding clothes, friend ?’ The man was speechless……”

What did he fail to wear?

So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith, for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. Galatians 3:26-27

The key question is: Will you be properly dressed to meet the King of Heaven?
