After decades of ministry in the U.S., Grete (“Greta”) has moved back to her native Austria and lives in Graz where she models and inspires hospitality and service among students, researchers, and trainees from over 100 countries around the world. Either in small groups or one-to-one, Greta volunteers teaching English or German using Bible stories as a base. She serves on the Human Resources Team for iFace and serves the national team via internet and phone, mentoring other staff members and screening field staff applicants.

 

For relaxation, she likes to play the piano and hike with others in nature. Greta is an author of three books, In Love But Worlds Apart (A handbook for intercultural couples), Moringa Leaf – A Novel, and Skinny and the Skunk (a story for children).
