Please note:  This trip is to allow international students the opportunity to experience Florida, build relationships with other international students and explore spiritual issues in the context of thoughtful and respectful dialogue.  There will be some sharing times with specific Christian content during the trip.

Sea World® and Universal Studios®

Get up close and personal with amazing sea creatures, experience the Wild Arctic®, Shark Encounter® and much more at Sea World.  Cost for these 2 entrances are included with registration fee of $200. 

 

Magic Kingdom®, EPCOT Center®

Spend as many as two days with Mickey and his friends at Walt Disney's Magic Kingdom® and explore the wonders of achievement in science, industry and technology at EPCOT Center® for the optional 2nd day.  Visit the shops and pavilions from countries around the world! Sorry, they do not offer a group rate so if you choose to see Epcot on the 2nd day, you will have to pay the increase single vs. group rate difference ($20) to enter Epcot. Thus, most students will go to Universal Studios for the 2nd day rather than EPCOT but the choice is yours (plus extra $20).

9:00 AM - General Session #2 / Lunch at church

1:00 PM -6:OO PM local sightseeing in St Pet and Clearwater FL

6:30 PM- Meet host families at Banquet

9:00 AM  Church Service with host families

10:3O AM - Depart for Sea World®

 

10:0O PM - Return to Orlando motel

9:0O AM -  Disney World®.

Optional 2nd Disney Theme Park (Epcot Center) with arrival on Wednesday. (Extra expense is entrance fee + motel =~$100). Your group leader will know if this option is available for your group.

 

Who may attend?

Registration and costs

We are still working on finalizing our cost; but registration deadline is December 1, 2007 on a "first come-first served basis."

*Additional Expense

Additional expenses will include: Your transportation to Florida, (contact the staff group leader in your area for details: ($185 from Ohio and $100 from Atlanta);  admissions to (1) Disney World's Magic Kingdom and (2) optional extra day at Epcot and motel = ~$100), and spending money for some meals, film, souvenirs, etc.  Your group leader will inform you if your group is planning to spend that extra night and day in Florida. Sea World and Universal Studios entrances will be paid for from $200 registration deposit. All meals are at your expense except for 3 continental breakfasts, 2 box lunches and 2 dinners, so bring $75 for about 10 meals. In other words, total cash or "out of pocket" expenses could be ~$150 for food and Disney entrance fee.

 

Refunds

$175 of the $200 conference fee and all transportation cost are refundable if you cancel before 12/1/07. To receive a refund after 12/1/07, you will need to find a substitute of your gender to take your place if we do not have a wait list to fill your vacancy.

 

Participation

Your registration means you agree to participate in all scheduled conference events. The conference does not make allowance for personal ventures during the conference. There are no exceptions.  Out of respect for our host families and churches, drinking alcoholic beverages is prohibited and smoking is not permitted inside the church buildings, host homes or on the bus.

If your do not register online, please fill out, sign your name and  print the Registration Form and give the completed form (including payment) to your group leader before 12/1/07. Please note that we need you to come with an approved group and the form we receive online with all your data is acceptable but we will also need your real signature once we travel by bus. We are unable to accept those who travel independently. WARNING: REGISTRATION IS LIMITED AND WAS FULL BY 11/25 LAST YEAR!!
